Ok, so today is Monday the 29th March 2010….and what an interesting day it has been! I needed to update you all…..

This is the first post from my new web/blogpage, it is going to alter over the next few weeks until I get a theme I like, and it’s set out how I like it. I would like to thank the wonderful Barbara Saul for setting this up for me, it is most truly appreciated! She is by far the WordPress Queen!

I took a call from Shana, the producer from BBC Radio Essex today. She has asked me to “co-host” a live all morning broadcast show on the 13th April 2010, location TBA, but it will be Chelmsford I am guessing! The topic of the show is Redundancy. And it will touch on how it affects people, what you can do to get a job, social skills, transferrable skills etc…all of course let you all know the location…and yes I will be available for autograph signing and photos! ha ha ha…. 2nd Radio stint…now for Channel 4 and then repeats on DAVE.

How very exciting is that? Of course it all depends on the good nature of my prospective employer actually agreeing to me having the time off!! lol…

Don’t forget, this all came from me writing a blog on being unemployed called Chin up Old boy…and then posting it on Twitter..where my then small network of friends ensured it was re-tweeted which took it worldwide! It took me half an hour to write that blog post and post it…half an hour…and look at what has come of it!!

You’re all probably wanting to know about the proposed job offer I was to receive today……well…it never came! Nope. Never came at all. I spoke to the recruitment chap this morning and he told me that the offer would come today. The guy who interviewed me on Friday told me he would make me an offer today! I tried to call him, but phone straight to answer phone….each and every time…I know he is a busy man….but….! Oh well, on to the next one, and that is 2nd interview for the other company tomorrow afternoon at 2pm!

Also, please read a post from my good friend Lee Smallwood ‘s blog from Saturday called “One for your Toolbox” it’s got a little bit about me in (hooray) it but mainly it’s about the greatest SoMe tool ever, called Radian6…it certainly is a gadget to have if you are well into your SoMe.

Also, don’t forget Philip Ross and his Great North Swim for the Tree House Appeal. And I am pleased to announce I have Hannah Coleman’s  link to her Marathon donation page for Tree House Appeal. Now then, those eagle eyed bunnies out there will notice that I have not donated to either of them yet…but I am unemployed right!! ha ha ha… I will do..trust me!!

So then…today’s been an mixed bag ….what’s going to happen tomorrow??
